About Us
Entebbe Club, synonymous with championship golf, sits at the base of Entebbe, opposite the State House in central Kampala, only a stone’s
throw from Kampala. With a rich heritage that dates back to 1901,
Entebbe Club stands as the oldest golf course in East and Central
Africa, famous for its long protruding pine trees that shape its
roughs and meticulously smooth fairways. Hitting long and playing
smart will save you an uncountable number of strokes, while the
manicured greens promise an exuberant putting experience.
Entebbe Golf Club boasts a meticulously designed golf course with a Par 71 layout, comprising nine holes on the front (F9) with a cumulative yardage of 35 and nine holes on the back (B9) totaling 36, covering an expansive distance of 6,784 yards from the Men's Tee boxes and 5,761 yards from the Ladies' Tee boxes. The course, distinguished by its challenging yet captivating design, features Five Par 5's, Seven Par 4's, and Six Par 3's.
We are home of the prestigious Singleton Golf Challenge, a series event held over a period of four months annually, attracting crowds of golfers from all walks of life and earned recognition as the host of prestigious tournaments within the country like Entebbe Open (Safari Tour Event), Uganda Open (Safari Tour Event), Entebbe Ladies’ Open, JBG Open and many more.
